Archive: Contemporary Music Course

Flicking through a file this morning and I found this newspaper article from 2009.

I had devised, set up and run a contemporary music course at Godalming College, and had managed to organise sponsorship from a local music store called Fleetcrofts. Now running as DK guitars in Godalming, they supplied numerous amplifiers and equipment which really helped us get off to a very positive start.

The power of local businesses helping kids in education and the local community cannot be underestimated, as we were then able to devise a number of charity concerts over the years using this equipment.
