Songwriting & Composition

Having written and performed a great number of songs, I went to study Popular Music Composition at Coventry University.  

 

I have now been working with my song writing partner for over 12 years and in 2016 we are going to release our third song book. See ReedMaxfield link below

I really like to encourage as many of my pupils as possible to try and write and record songs which serves as a great introduction to music technology.

Reed Maxfield

ReedMaxfield are Surrey-based British songwriting duo Philippa Reed and Chris Maxfield, who began their musical collaboration in 2003.

 

The resulting body of work: their ongoing ‘Songbook’ series, is a reflection of their combined influences and talents.

ReedMaxfield are currently signed to Anara Publishing.
